3000 servings of gravy a week. 123 liters of oatmeal a week. 600 servings of Mac and Cheese every five weeks. It's safe to say the kettles in our Food Services kitchen are kind of busy!

That's why our staff are thrilled to have two brand new kettles in the kitchen! Breena, Tammy and Dorthy explain how these kettles will benefit our Elders in this video. Plus, you'll see Dorthy use the biggest whisk that Eric has ever seen:)

We are very proud of the Dementia Inclusive Initiative currently being implemented throughout Sherbrooke. It is hard but important work that will benefit so many Elders in our community!

One of the challenges we are working on is educating our dedicated volunteers what Dementia Inclusive is.

This week, we started filming a Dementia Inclusive educational video specifically for volunteers! Local videographer Britainy Zapshalla spent two days interviewing Elders, volunteers and staff, as well as capturing hours of meaningful moments, that will be turned into an education video.

Thank you to everyone who smiled at the camera and we can't wait to share this video with you in the months to come!

Elders, students, staff and family members asked questions to Jan Norris from the Green Party, Susan Hayton from the Liberal Party, Claire Card from the New Democratic Party and Guto Penteado from the People's Party of Canada.

It was a very informative hour and we thank all the candidates for taking the time to share their views with us!
