"Sherbrooke- Where love lives. My heart will forever be bigger because of Sherbrooke. This week I learned what it is to truly be present- to show up and really listen- with my entire being. The environment at Sherbrooke fully supports this growth I'm over flowing with what I am taking back with me to the homes in the Southwest."

This quote comes from Shon Profit. Shon is a nurse and artist from Eastend, Saskatchewan and last week, she spent three days learning about the role that art plays in our community.

Shon is leading a pilot project in southwest Saskatchewan that will bring the joy of art to different long-term care homes in the region. We are excited to see what residents in these care home create with Shon!

Today is the one year anniversary of the Humboldt bus crash. The tragedy impacted so many lives across the province and around the world. Last year, our neighbourhoods honoured the memories of those lost in the tragedy by placing hockey sticks outside of their doors.

Today, all of us at Sherbrooke and Central Haven are #HumboldtStrong.
