OUR COMMUNITY - Employment Opportunities

Sherbrooke Community Centre offers a rich employment opportunity where staff health and well being are given a high priority. Sherbrooke works to create an environment where staff can make a difference. Staff are considered the lifeblood of the community and so we support them as individual community members and encourage them to develop their strengths and passions in meeting our mission.

More Information...

Sherbrooke is an Eden Alternative Home. We strive to create an environment that enables residents to live full and abundant lives. This human habitat involves children, plants and animals as we strive to provide each resident with companionship and opportunities to give and receive care in a diverse environment rich with spontaneity and variety.

Sherbrooke employees belong to one of three unions. The majority of staff belong to Service Employees International Union (SEIU), the nurses belong to Saskatchewan Union of Nurses (SUN) and the remaining professional staff belong to Health Sciences Association of Saskatchewan (HSAS).  An extensive benefit package is available to all employees through the Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations (SAHO).

Sherbrooke employs approximately 500 staff who care for 270 residents and over 100 community day program participants. Sherbrooke has permanent and casual employment opportunities for special care aides, LPN's, RN/RPN's, housekeeping and food and nutrition services. Management positions and other professional positions may also be available.
