The Residents and Family Council was established so that Residents, Community Day Program Participants, and families would have increased influence and control over their daily lives and the direction of the organization.
The council provides direct access to the leadership team and the board of directors, and deals with issues that affect the community as a whole. The council does not address the issues of individual residents.
Residents and Family Council meets bi-monthly on the first Thursday of the month at 2:00 p.m. in the Spiritual Centre. Two members of the council sit on the Sherbrooke governing board.
