Community Day Program

The program provides services to individuals with a wide range of challenges, including physical disabilities, psychiatric diagnoses, and frailty.

Participants receive access to consultative services from a chaplain and dietician, as well as access to:

  • Occupational therapy
  • Physical therapy
  • Pool therapy
  • Recreational programs, including woodworking, baking, a music group, and a men’s group
  • Beauty salon
  • Bathing (arranged with home care)
  • Foot care, provided by the Victorian Order of Nurses
  • Community outings
  • Modified Sheltered Work Program, giving individuals the opportunity to participate in a sheltered work experience in a modified format

Transportation can be provided within Saskatoon, and a meal is served at noon for no extra cost (food for special diets can be provided), though participants in the Modified Sheltered Work Program must bring a bagged lunch.

We also provide a monthly caregiver support group, offering support and education to caregivers of participants in the Community Day Program.
